Dentists in New Mexico are reopening their doors to patients under new health guidelines, and appointments have been booked for months. Dentists across the state are now allowed to resume non-essential dental care, having previously been forced to shut down under state guidelines. Health officials on Friday announced that dentists in most parts of New Mexico will be able to resume providing non-essential dental care on state orders after they shut down operations due to state orders. Dentists in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Santa Cruz and Albuquerque were allowed to reopen Friday under strict guidelines to continue business as usual, but appointments have already been booked this month.
