National Register of Historic Places for Santa Fe, New Mexico

 

Santa Fe, New Mexico resides inside the lines of Santa Fe County. The area’s buildings are constructed in the Pueblo style. This city was founded during 1607.

 

La Villa Real de la Santa Fe de San Francisco Asis is the city’s full name. The Pueblo Indians roamed Santa Fe.

 

Francisco Coronado came through the area around 1540.

 

During 1821, the Santa Fe Trail was cleared by William Becknell. Vicar Apostolic came to Santa Fe in 1851.

 

Among the Santa Fe famous people are Debbie Jaramillo, Don Juan de Onate, Don Pedro de Peralta, Diego de Vargas, Stephen Kearny, Roger Zelazny, Henry Sibley, Lew Wallace and Jack Schaefer.

 

Santa Fe, New Mexico celebrates the Farolito Walk, PAL Run and the Martindale Morris Antique Show.
